Slater Week in Review & look Ahead

Hello Slater Nation!

I hope everyone is well rested after a long weekend!  Last week saw our Slaters in action in a variety of ways, on and off the fields!  Here are some highlights!

Slater Boys Soccer

The boys soccer team had a pair of games last week, first vs. Long Trail, and then Otter Valley at the Proctor tournament.  In the First game, the boys battled a strong Long Trail team, and came out with a 1-0 WIN!  A fabulous goal by Austin Bannock sealed the Victory for the Slaters.

On Saturday, the boys played to a 0-0 tie with a tough Otter Valley Team!  Great work boys and awesome job, Coach Ruby!  

Slater Cheer

The Slater Cheer Team continued to Rock out at our home games and last Saturday at BBA!  The Girls cheered in the heat to support our Slater Football Team!  Great Work coach Ransom, and ladies!

Cross Country

Last Tuesday at Rutland, our Cross Country team ran in their first meet of the Season! Halle Coloutti, running in her first ever Meet, came in 3rd place!  Great work Hallie and our Cross Country Team!  Dave Burrows and his squad continue to work hard and represent Slater Nation!

Starting tomorrow, our girls JV & Varsity Soccer Teams, welcome Vergennes High to Slater Nation!  The JV play at 4 PM, and the Varsity follows at 6 PM!  Please come out and cheer our girls to VICTORY!

Our JV Football team battle Mill River on Wednesday 9/9/15 at 5 PM at LaPlaca Field!  Come out and shout for our JV Slaters!

On Thursday at 6:30 PM, FHUHS will have its annual OPEN HOUSE!  Please come and see the wonderful things that are going on at SLater Nation!  Bring your parents and friends to our wonderful school!
