Spring Season Activities & Sports
The Spring season for Sports & Activities are just a little over a month away! Soon we will be training for Outdoor Track and Field, Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Golf!
This can not happen for our student athletes unless they have a physical before the start of the season. Starting this spring, before students can Try-out, participate in any athletic practice or events, they need to have a physical in place.

The Coaches vs. Cancer game received over $4000.00 in donations! Awesome job Slaters and Blue Devil ladies!
Coach Kyle Wilson put lots of time and effort into this event, and Slater Nation thanks him for his dedication to this cause!

Congratulations to the 2014-2015 Indoor Track and Field Team for a great season! Some of our Indoor Track and Field Student Athletes will be participating in New Englands next week! Great job Coach Kent, Coach Dave Burrows and the entire Indoor Track and Field team for a great Indoor Season!

Hello Slater Nation!
I hope everyone is warm and enjoying this day off! It has been a day of communicating and updating for me.
The following changes have taken place to this weeks activities/athletics schedule.
The girls JV & Varsity teams will not be playing at BBA tomorrow 1/28/15, as there was no refs left for that day. That game has been rescheduled for 2/11/15 at Burr & Burton Academy at 5:30 PM/7:00 PM.
The boys JV & Varsity boys basketball teams plays home vs. Mill River at FHUHS Gym at 5:30 PM & 7:00 PM on 1/29/15. Please come cheer on our boys to VICTORY!
The JV & Varsity boys do play at Springfield High tomorrow 1/28/15 at 5:30/7:00 PM
There will be a JV Girls game this Saturday 1/31/15 at FHUHS Gym vs. Green Mountain Union High School! Please come and support our ladies as they compete against a non league opponent.
Good luck to our cheerleaders as they compete in Rutland this Saturday. Our wrestling team travels to Graylock, MA. for a meet and our Scholars Bowl team travels to Montpelier for a meet!
There is a big White-Out Dance this Saturday at 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM at FHUHS! Please come and dance the night away in the FHUHS Gym!

1/27/15 Games Postponed!
As per district policy; all after school activities/athletics have been cancelled! The boys JV & Varsity games at Springfield High school have been rescheduled for Wednesday 1/28/15 at 5:30 and 7:00 PM and will be at Springfield High school. The bus will be leaving FHUHS at 3:45 PM.
The Girls JV & Varsity games have been rescheduled for Wednesday 1/28/15 at 5:30 and 7:00 PM at Burr and Burton Academy. The bus will be leaving at 3:45 from FHUHS.
There will be no activities or athletic events at Fair Haven Union High School. Everyone stay safe and warm, and be prepared to continue all activities on 1/28/15!
An extensive schedule for the rest of the week will be posted tomorrow, 1/27/15.

On Saturday 1/24/15, Fair Haven Union High School was represented by several instrumental and choral students at the Castleton State College Honors music Festival. This festival is a prestigious event, hosted by CSC for students across the state to share their musical talents.

Coaches Vs. Cancer Game 1/24/15
On 1/24/15 Coach Kyle Wilson and the Lady Slaters went out on the court at Poultney High School to face two opponents. The first was the Poultney High School Blue Devils and the second was cancer! The Lady Slaters played in the Coaches vs. Cancer game and in the process, raised over $1,500 dollars for the fight against cancer, as well as came out with a victory. Congrats to the Lady Slaters and Coach Wilson for this Awesome Cause and for giving back to this great community!

Coaches vs. Cancer Game @ Poultney High 1/24/15
Tomorrow 1/24/15 at 1:30, Coach Kyle Wilson and the Varsity Lady Slaters will be playing at Poultney in the Coaches Vs. Cancer Game. This is a great cause. Kyle Wilson quoted:
“We are dedicating our game on January 24th vs Poultney High School to help the American Cancer Society save lives and create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. We are truly excited to be a part of this team, and support will help us achieve our goal of raising $1000.00 for the American Cancer Society.”
Please go cheer on our Slater Ladies and Coach Wilson for this awesome cause!
