Slater Week in Review & Look Ahead 9/21/15

Slater Week in Review & Look Ahead

Hello Slater nation!

Last week, our Slaters were involved in a multitude of Sports and Activities, and I just wanted to highlight some great things going on at SLATER NATION!

Ms. Partesi and the AWESOME ART Club worked at the Annual Fair HAven Apple Fest.  The Club painted many faces and helped create many smiles while also promoting community spirit in Fair Haven!  Great job ladies!

The Pep band entertained the crowd last Friday under the lights at the football game.  Mrs. Janeea Choiniere led the band to rocking songs as the crowd cheered on a GREAT FOOTBALL NIGHT!  Great job!
Cross Country

The boys and Girls Cross Country teams competed at an Marble Valley league meet at MSJ last Tuesday, where both teams came in 2nd place overall, with a total of 12 teams running!  Halle Coloutti came in first place in her second straight race, to lead the girls, and Joe Ouimet came in third place on the boys side.
Great Work Coach Burrows and TEAM!

JV Football
The JV Football team had an impressive performance against, rival Poultney last Monday at La Placa Fied.  The team dominated a strong Poultney team to win their third straight game of the season, for a 3-0 record!

Girls JV Soccer
The JV Girls Soccer Team played a strong game vs. Springfield High School last Thursday, and came out with a 11-0 win @ Springfield.  Great Game ladies and Coach Alex Hillard!

Varsity Girls Soccer
The Girls Soccer Team won their 2nd straight game of the season by defeating Springfield High School!  Julia Corrone and Abby Ferrera scored for the Slater’s for the 2-1 VICTORY!  Great JOB COACH AKIN and ladies!

The Cheer Team has been rocking and cheering for our teams all Fall!  Great work to Coach Ransom and team for all your hard work and dedication!  Slater nation is ecstatic about your support!

Varsity Football
The Varsity football team had a MONSTER game vs. Lyndon Institute last Friday here on La Placa Field!  The team’s offense went wild for a 50 point explosion!  Great game!
