Slater Nation Week in Review and look Ahead 

8/31/15

Hello Slater Nation!

THis is the first full week of school, and we have lots of things going on, but we want to take a notice of the great things that happened last week!

Cheer Team

The cheer team started the week with a strong performance on the first day of school for our students and staff in an all school assembly, then Friday night, got the crowd amped at the football game, and cheered our team to VICTORY!  Great job TEAM!

Football

Our Varsity Football team lit up the scoreboard against a tough North Country Football team. The team had impressive performances from Captains Ryan Alexander, Lucas Czarnecki, Taylor Kyhill & Logan Bathalon!  THe final score was 39-14!

This will be an intense week on the practice field, as the football team prepare to take on our Rivals Burr & Burr Academy on Saturday afternoon at 1 PM!

Art Club & Dance Team!

This week Art Club has their first meeting, Ms. Partesi will post information about times and place.  THe Slater Dance Team has their first meeting tomorrow at 3:30, right after school to talk about the upcoming season.  

Mr. Mark Cassidy!

I want to take a minute to thank Mr. Mark Cassidy for what he does for Fair Haven Union High School and the Fair Haven community!  Mark comes in at all hours of the day, night and early morning to keep our buildings, fields, and machinery safe, shiny and working!  Mark works tirelessly and does so with such joy!  We are so lucky to have his help, support and hard work!  

Thanks Mark for all you do!  We are truly grateful!
