Hello Slater Nation!

Last week was one that was fun, adventurous, artistic and great!  We saw a Poetry-Out Loud Competition, a few thrilling basketball games and great wins by the boys!  We also saw excellent, and dominant wins by the Girls Basketball teams!

Thank you Mrs. Hadeka for sponsoring the 3rd annual Poetry Out-Loud event at Fair Haven Union High School!  The event was unbelievable and well attended by our students and staff.  Well over 300 students and staff attended this great event.  

Congrats to Lindsay Marcy, Charles Cacciatore, Emily Clement, Ryan Langmaid, Keilani Pellerin & Kyra Trombley!  
Charlie Cacciatore won this event and Kyra Trombley took second place!  Congrats to all and how truly inspiring this event was as the spoken word in Poetry form was at the forefront!

The JV & Varsity Boys Basketball Teams defeated MSJ at MSJ last week.  Very impressive performances Slaters!  Congrats Coach P and Coach Phillips and our boys Basketball Teams!

The JV & Varsity Girls Basketball Teams defeated Middlebury Union High School this Saturday here at Slater Nation!  Great job Coach Wilson & Coach Daley!

Congrats to Dan Pelkey & Lauren Langlois for their 3rd place finish @ the first ever VA throwing championship at ST. J. Academy this weekend!  Slater Nation is very proud of you!

Equally Austin Beauregard set the D2 State Record in the 55M Hurdles down at Norwich University this weekend!  He along with the Megan Eaton; who qualified for New Englands by an impressive performance in the 55M Dash!  

Ian Knapp, Mike Briggs, Will Reed and Josh Melen all qualified for New Englands Indoor Track & Field!  They will be representing Slater Nation at the Reggie Lewis Arena in a few weeks!  Congrats to you and we at Slater Nation are very impressed and proud of these great accomplishments!

Senior Game

Please come to see our Slater Senior Girls play their Last regular Season Home Game this Saturday 2/14/15 at 1:00 PM here at FHUHS!

Seniors, Lindsey Marcy, Jenna Alexander, Kylie Eagan, Vinny Orsi, Elly Maynard & Kelley Daley will be playing in their last regular season game!

Come cheer these wonderful ladies on to a VICTORY!

The JV girls will be playing at 11:30 before the start of the Varsity game.  Please come support these ladies!
