Footwear Donation

Hello Slaters!

Stephanie Gebhardt, a freshman student here at FHUHS, is in need of your help!

Kids in Africa are more likely to die of diseases simply by walking to school everyday for miles. Why is that you may ask? Well we have something we use everyday that they don’t. Shoes!

Many kids in Africa don’t have shoes and because of that, they are more vulnerable to cuts and infections that can cause those barefooted kids to get deadly diseases!

Stephanie has started a group called Footwear Donation to help those in need.

Students of FHUHS, of all ages, lets step up and donate shoes you don’t wear or don’t fit to a good cause.

Anyone interested in joining this group, there will be a meeting tomorrow during the first part of inquiry in the library. If you have any questions email Stephanie at stephanie.gebhardt@arsu.org.

Donations will start after break on January 3rd, 2017. There will be a box in the office if you have shoes to donate. No sandals or flip flops!
